For some that are starting their banner ministries the most difficult part will be the planning, sewing and decorating. For others the biggest obstacle will be to have their church leaders or members even accept a banner ministry I recently received the following e-mail:
"Have you ever done a Bible study on the purpose and use of banners? What is your response to those who say banners are a distraction? I am finding that acceptance of banners in worship divide along generation lines. Have you ever faced this?"
If you have answers that you would like to share with us, please e-mail me your story to info@praisebanners.com.
This unusual trim (pictured at PraiseBanners® under "trim" ) is actually a combination of a strand of sequins accented by a tiny braid of the same color and outlined with a metallic gold braid. I can't think of a better way to add some meaning as well as color to your banner. See the color chart below for colors and scriptural meanings.
This trim is lightweight and can be hand-stitched or glued. While working with it, tape the ends to prevent raveling.

I hear from people all the time who think that our kits are really too expensive. After extensive research for our next catalog I know that this statement is not true. I had to go to several stores in the Nashville area to find comparable fabrics and trims. Even then, the selection and quality did not come close to what we carry.
Quite often we have customers who will purchase a pattern with the idea of saving money by buying from their local fabric store. They often will come back and order the kit after being disappointed by the quality and selection they find in the stores.
The kits come with absolutely everything you need to construct your banner. We do not include thread, as there is such a personal preference about thread among banner makers.
If you do buy a pattern and later want to get a kit, we will deduct the cost of the pattern from the kit. If you buy a kit and decide you don't have the time or resources to make the banner, we will make your banner (for the pre-made banner price) and deduct the cost of the kit.
