Reader's Testimony

Note from editor: I always enjoy hearing from Monica. I feel the Lord has touched her heart. She has a new baby girl but still took the time to write this beautiful message! If you would like to see some of the banners that Monica has shared with us, visit our gallery.
"I want to share this awesome news! In Charleston, South Carolina banners are being used more and more in worship services. I believe that the Lord is really calling his people to a place of worship and is touching their hearts with the freedom to express in ways that the "traditional" services may have forgotten. It was in the ancient of days that we moved in music and dance before the Lord. It is so awesome to see God's kingdom moving in ways today. Our church has seen the freedom of worshipers to dance with uplifted hands before His throne."
"I recently visited a church where banners were streamed beautifully over the congregation. As water flows in a river, the banner waved gently across us in representation of the River of Life. It was so moving to participate in worship using God's instruments of praise! I pray the Kingdom of God continue in such a return to the ancient ways remembering His name and serving Him."

Book Corner

This month's selection is "Names of the Holy Spirit" by Ray Pritchard; Moody Press.
One of the most difficult aspects of banner making is coming up with the initial design. A good way to get ideas is to make spiritual reading and references a part of your daily devotion.
How much do you know about the person and works of the Holy Spirit? To many Christians, the third member of the Trinity is a mystery. This devotional study of the Holy Spirit looks at His ministry throughout Scripture as revealed in the names the Bible gives Him.
